Meet the designer Kevin McCoy

Lives in Senoia Georgia, but my roots are in Tulsa Oklahoma. Member of Team Innova since 2004, and with Discraft from 1998-2004. I also spent a couple years working for Innova on the mobile events team 2017-2020.

Course Designer

I've designed 30 courses. 8 of which have been used for PDGA Majors, National Tour, A-Tiers, and the Southern Nationals Championship. BlackHawk, RedHawk, Dovillio were 3 of my courses featured during the 2006 Amateur World Championships. BlackHawk and RedHawk were also featured during the 2014 US Masters and has been the host for the Oklahoma Open coming up on 20 years. The 2 courses at the Lodge in Pawhuska OK, has hosted a National Tour event, and is currently Oklahoma's highest rated courses according to uDisc. The 3 courses in Griffin, GA have been used for the Southern National Championships, and is also host for A-tiers.

Player

As a player, I have played over 500 courses all over the World. I have won over 175 professional events in 21 different US States and Ontario Canada. Winner of 2 Majors, 1 National Tour, and 20 A-Tiers. Finished in the Top 10 at 8 Majors, and I've even claimed 2 Mini Disc Golf World Championships. PDGA Player stats #9453

PDGA Board of Directors - State Coordinator

I spent 6 years as the Oklahoma State Coordinator for the PDGA, where I wanted to bring high level events to Oklahoma. I was able to accomplish that by helping create an annual A-Tier, The Oklahoma Open. Went after, and won the bid for the 2006 Amateur World Championships, and helped land 2 PDGA National Tour events at 2 different course locations in Oklahoma.

I then relocated to Georgia with my family, where I was elected to serve seven years on the PDGA Board of Directors was able to create PDGA Leagues.
